During all of the phases of care we are most likely working with you to do some strengthening of the muscles surrounding the affected area or injury. Muscles heal more quickly than tendons and ligaments so it is important to keep the muscles strong enough to help function while the tendons, ligaments and your spine stabilize. The focus of this phase is to solidify your progress and prevent future injury.
